Depends: Good sleep hygiene is very important at any age, also try melatonin over the counter that is a natural biological substance responsible for circadian rhythms ( sleep-wake cycle), if that doesn't work than consult with your mom's doctor, they will be able to chose the most appropriate therapy taking in consideration your mom's medical problems and all the medications she is on.
