Not in my opinion: It is a blood pressure med to control the diastolic pressure. Any tooth related problems are from another cause so please see your dentist.

Gingival overgrowth: Many calcium channel blockers for hypertension can cause gingival overgrowth, including amlodipine other older meds, such as nifedipine, are much more common agents. In recent years, more documented cases have arisen with amlodipine as a causative agent, including several in my practice.

Not directly: Willamolidipine induces massive gingival hyperplasia (gums swelling) and gum disease. Gingivitis and periodontitis are major causes of tooth loss. See your PCP for medication adjustment and your dentist for consultation.
