A member asked:

Why are my eyes so much more sensitive to light when i wear my contacts?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Contact lenses: Contact lenses are foreign, highly milled plastic polymers that correct refractive errors. A proper fit is very important. Many factors can interfere with a comfortable contact lens fit including: too tight a fit, too dry an eye, excessive protein deposits on contact lens, overwear, viral or bacterial infection, contact lens allergy just to name a few. All these can increase sensitivity.
