Knee pain: In a 16 year old is more commonly patellofemoral or knee cap issues, resolving osgood schlatters ( especially males with late growth spurts) and traumatic injuries. Such as ligaments ANS mensical injury. Of course ruling out inflammatory issues such as arthritis, lyme and others is important too. A visit to the pcp and an oprthopedic surgeon who treats knee issues can be helpful.
