A member asked:

Progesterone level was 48 at 7 weeks pregnant with twins. is this low? what is a good range?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Normal: Absolutely fine. No worries. Good luck! that number would tell us with patients on vaginal Progesterone that the placenta has taken over completely the production of progesterone. For im dosing patients depending on the dose given, the number is very healthy and likely represents mid transition phase. If you are not on Progesterone this number is great and don't know why it was measured?
