See below: Diarrhea is common after right colon surgery. Dink more liquids and add fiber such as mwtamucil up to 3 times a day. Vomiting may be due to pain pills or narcotics. Stop pain pills & call the surgeon if there is persistent vomiting or increasing abdominal pain or fever.
