Look for them: Pubic lice is most common sexually transmitted parasitic infection, associated with itching, can see parasites crawling and also can see lice eggs the nits treated along with partner with over the counter Permethrin or r x ed kwell (lindane).

Pubic Lice: Blue spots may show on the skin where the lice have been feeding. Nits (eggs) may be noted on the pubic hairs. The pubic louse (Phthirus pubis) is about 1 to 2 mm in length & when magnified looks like a crab. It is wingless, tan to grayish-white, flattened dorsoventrally, has 3 clawed sets of legs & a head which is significantly smaller than the rest of the body.
