My 3 y/o got his flu shot thurs. has had fever since fri from 101.5 to 104.6 highest. could the shot cause this? asymptomatic other than fever.

Doubtful: You can't catch the flu from the shot. Likely he picked up some other bug while in the office getting their shot? If you are concerned i would recommend you schedule an appointment with his doctor.
