A member asked:

If you dislocate your pinky does that mean you'll get arthritis in that finger?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly: If a joint is damaged by dislocation it is at a higher risk for arthritis down the road. Dislocation will cause damage to the ligaments that hold the joint together. It can also damage the cartilage that covers the joint which can make it susceptible to arthritis.
