Not normal, nor rare: This is not very rare, however it is not a normal pregnancy symptom and merits further investigation! women with nosebleeds are more likely than others to suffer severe hemorrhage during delivery and require blood transfusion. A complete blood count and coagulation panel should be checked to exclude coagulopathy or thrombocytopenia. Von willebrand factor deficiency has to be considered! see mfm!
