A member asked:

Can a lumbar puncture affects my legs? because after one year , mine are stil weak.. thanks

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doctors can evaluate: A lumbar puncture just collects some of the fluid that surrounds the spinal cord, so it shouldn't leave symptoms like weak legs. A neurologist and a physical medicine doctor (physiatrist) can evaluate and work to diagnose what is going on.
