A little lemon is ok: A little bit of lemon is ok, because that essentially is lemon-flavored water. Too much lemon juice can lead to an upset stomach in some people. Other than the vitamin c in citrus fruits, and the water of course, there isn't any special benefit of lemon water to one's health.

Water is: Lemon water does nothing but flavor water and make it taste better. A few vitamins and such, but not too much.
