Rare sexual dysfunct: Omeprazole is a medication that decreases the stomach's production of acid. There are rare reports of men taking Omeprazole who have experienced impotence and/ or breast enlargement related to use of this drug. Long- term use can also prevent adequate calcium absorption, thereby increasing future risk of osteoporosis. However no particular 'hormones' have been seen to be abnormal in these cases.
