Nothing specific: Bleeding patterns vary in the same person from time to time and over time in general. This is due to changes in the hormonal profile with time and other unknown factors. The symptom you describe has been seen in patients with adenomyosis (endometriosis in the muscle of the uterus), or in situations with fibroids or polyps. Much more common though is just unknown cause. Good luck.
