Posture: Poor posture (sitting hunched over) can bother many muscles, bones, joints and other structures. If you have to work hunched over for long periods of time, at least get up and stretch every hour or two, and try whenever possible to keep your spine straight and supported. Rib pain is not usually a sign of serious underlying disease or problems.
