Mri shows infection in the ear behind the ear . what does this mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Mastoiditis: The mastoid is a sinus in the skull composed of a series of tiny ear spaces created by a plexus of bony dividers. It is connected to the middle ear by a tube called the aditus ad antrum mastoideum and can convey microorganisms from the middle ear to the mastoid. Without seeing your MRI difficult to know what you have, but see an ENT doctor soon.
