What causes heart palipations after a hot bath?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Vasodilatation: When you take a hot bath or shower your blood vessels open up. When you stand up after the bath, the blood rushes into all these open blood vessels just by the force of gravity and your blood pressure drops. The heart tries to compensate for this by beating more strongly and faster. Be very careful when you take a hot shower or bath. You could faint.
