Puberty: Acne or pimples is a very common occurrence during puberty and is often a "death sentence" to most girls. The cornerstone of treatment is washing the face with warm water and a cleanser 2x a day. You may start with 5% benzoyl peroxide lotion/cream once or 2x a day after washing. If not improved, try the 10%. Wait at least 2-4 weeks for results. Prescription meds by her pediatrician is available.
