NORMAL BEHAVIOR ....: Average age of starting menses: around 11 to 11 1/2. Racial, familial/cultural influence/difference is there. 1st two years, menses may be irregular because ovulation may not occur every month. 80 to 85% adolescents get acne, this is a part of normal hormonal influence. Don't think acne is bc of dirt, shouldn't wash face too much with strong soap/ cleansers. Check with derm. If acne too much.
