Chronic diarrhea: Diarrhea caused by a virus usually lasts a short time; its persistence is caused by complete loss of enzymes (lactase, amylase, lipase) needed for digestion. Chronic nonspecific diarrhea of childhood may last several weeks. Both conditions, however, eventually resolve. To lessen the diarrhea, fluids drank warm or at room temperature is preferred, as well as binding foods (rice, etc), &fatty foods.

Lymph node: A swollen lymph node may be associated with the finding behind her ear, but if it becomes red, swollen or drains pus, please see your Pediatrician right away. The swellin should diminish within 6 weeks.
