Brown 6" formed log: Refer to the bristol stool scale. Type 4 is the "best". If you consider that each meal travels through the bowel as a separate "packet" then the number of stools should equal the number of meals. However 3 per week is considered by gastroenterologists in this country to be acceptable. That is likely due to the low intake of fiber by americans. Fiber will increase frequency of bowel movements.
