Yes: You can get HIV by having unprotected sex with anyone who has hiv, including gay men. The biggest risk is having receptive anal sex (being "on the bottom") without a condom, but other activities can be risky as well. Use condoms!

There is risk w/ all: You are at risk for HIV infection whenever you have unprotected sex with anyone. The main route of sexual transmission is through intercourse, either vaginal or anal, for both participants. There is also a risk of contracting syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, trichinosis, herpes, human papillomavirus and hepatitis. All STD's are on the rise. Practicing protected sex works and saves you the worry!
