A member asked:

6 1/2 month be allergic to apricots and/or strawberries (given separately, days apart). her face gota "rosey" look on her nose, one cheek and forehead?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Can be: There good reason to delay such foods until after a year of age when an infants intestine has finished developing.Early foods need to be low in their allergic potential, like rice cereal &bland vegetables. Do not assume the baby looks at these as a treat. You might try these again after a year but you may have uncovered or triggered a long term allergy.
