Milky mixed drinks: There are 3 kinds of galactosemia, gal-1-put deficiency is most common and is considered "classic". This can cause liver damage (and worse) if you eat foods with lactose or galactose. Ethanol itself is not a problem. Milk would be far worse. So avoid any alcoholic drinks mixed with milk ingredients (eg, white russians). If you have any liver problems, then don't drink alcohol at all.
