Yes: Every month has a different number of days. Periods cycle on days, not months. Typically the cycle is 21-28 days, 28 days being the most common. If you have a 30 day month, you pick up 2 days, if you have a 31 day months you pick up 3 days. Variation of a few days can occur normally.
