Doctor can evaluate: Itchy spots that are barely visible until itching and scratching begin, may have some extra-sensitive nerve endings there (that send itchiness signals to the brain), or have some cells there that release histamine (causes itching) for no particular reason or release histamine when the area is rubbed or scratched. A doctor can evaluate to see if the bumps are related to any problem inside the body.
