One question at a : Time. Fibroids are benign tumors, usually in the uterus, of smooth muscle origin, name = leiomyoma. There are no know foods that can shrink tumors. A balanced diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, low in fats, abstaining from tobacco and no more than one drink/day may help in preventing tumors. Estrogen and Progesterone go up and down during a menstrual cycle, why do women have menstrual cycles?

Fruit & Veggies: Colorful fruit and veggies are rich in flavonoids which block an important enzyme in estrogen biosynthesis. Even if youre a strict vegan its hard to avoid the hormones in the food supply. Trying to be as close to your ideal weight (cut excess body fat), exercise, and eat healthy (fruits & veggies, limit meat/dairy) will help your fibroid situation alot (and will improve your overall health too !

Sadly, no studies have found that certain foods help to shrink fibroids. While a healthy diet and regular exercise are great for overall health, again there is no data to show that diet or exercise affects fibroid growth.
