Can you permanently cure spondylolysis and listhesis?

Rarely: Some cases of spondylolysis in young people and very young adults can be fixed with surgery. Most with spondylolisthesis, especially adults cannot be cured, though fusion (making the area stiff surgically) can restore function when conservative measures fail.

Treated not cured: They can be treated when symptomatic and repaired. It is a fix the word cure is reserved for another style of healing we can change it so it is less symptomatic. That is the best we can do.
