I have a knot in my lower back an it hurts to the point that it fills like it grabs sumtimes takes my breath away. what cld it be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Knot in back: It could be a variety of things including muscle spasm, sprain, or radicular (nerve) pain. When you see your doctor, they'll ask about nerve symptoms, if the pain travels, if you're having any bowel or bladder problems, and they'll do a thorough exam including testing the reflexes, strength, sensation of your legs, and special tests for nerve pinching.
