Depends on what...: It depends on what one is not allowed to take. Mucinex (guaifenesin) d has "sudafed" or Pseudoephedrine in it, so if one is not allowed to take sudafed, then there may be a problem.

Ask probation office: Make sure to check with your probation officer to be certain that mucinex-d is on the list of approved medicines you can take.
