Rule out asthma: It is important to see your physician. He/ she will need to rule out asthma, costochondiritis, pulmonary embolism, allergies, bronchitis, pneumonia or other lung problems. Each of the possibilities requires prescription medicine as well as a chest xray, ekg or scan with lab work. Hopefully if you smoke your stop. I hope you feel better soon.
