Stretch, meds: Gentle stretching, simple pain medication may help. If does not improve, see your primary doctor or a spine specialist. Leg pain like you describe may be a disk problem, narrowing of the space for the nerves (stenosis), or circulation (a few of the common causes).

Not normal: For help, you need to consult your pcp. Sciatica can come from any one of 3 spinal nerves and a serious problem may or may not be the cause of the pain. You also must consider your arteries as the source of your pain. Get it checked out, dont suffer.

Spine Pain Options: This chronic pain in the distribution as you suggested is the result of an irritated nerve or facet joints or other injury typically in the lumbar spine (low back) which are caused by herniated disks, spinal stenosis or degenerative disc disease, etc requiring further evaluation by a spine specialist and may be candidate for facet injections/radiofrequency ablation and epidural steroid injection.
