A member asked:

My hubby is a type 1 diabetic and only eats once a day--is this bad?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Eat once a day: Yes. This is going to slow down his metabolic activity and make it more likely for the body to save every calorie it can. This leads to weight gain and elevated blood sugar. He needs to eat regularly and, of course, avoid foods with high glycemic index.
