A member asked:

How bad might it be to take lamictal while drunk?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Bad: Lamictal is prescribed for people with seizures, bipolar disorder or schizophrenia. Alcohol is bad for all of these, but is often used by people to try to treat the symptoms, cutting back on mania or hypomania or decreasing psychotic symptoms. Problem is, those problems always come back with a vengeance, and alcohol itself is toxic. It also has many drug interactions. Talk to your doctor!
