Hope you're kidding: Although there may be a small amount of alcohol found in some oral liquid medications, there is no value otherwise in giving a child a drink of alcohol. It's against the law for a good reason! why would you consider it?

Yes: Alcohol has breakdown products like formaldehyde that are toxic to the developing brain.There is no level of alcohol exposure that is safe for toddlers. It can also trigger life threatening low blood sugar in kids.
