A member asked:

What emotions can make your blood sugar high?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hard to say: I'm not sure if there's any official link between certain emotions and elevated blood sugar. What we do know is that , cortisol is a stress hormone that elevates blood sugar. When i say stress, it really means more physical stress (like starvation? ) . But it's certainly possible even emotional stress can affect cortisol.
