Many kinds.: Avoid those with visible metal heating elements which can cause fire. Models using ceramic heating elements are safer and not costly. A built in thermostat is a great feature to automatically shut the device off when the air temperature is right. Keep in mind that all heaters dry air. A humidifier in winter is a good thing!
