No: I let my patients out of the brace for physical activites sports and dance they are important as well.

I dont think so: Unless your treatment involves surgery. If your treatment involves a surgical procedure, you should adhere to your surgeon's protocol. If the treatment is non-operative, most brace wear regimens will allow for a few hours out of the brace.
