how long willit take for knee injuries to heal?

1 doctor answer
Dr. John Michalski
35 years experience Orthopedic Surgery
Knee injuries: Depends upon the location and extent (the personality) of the injury. Meniscal tears and full thickness acl tears don't heal on their own, and may need surgery. Sprains and strains are usually short-lived, such as 2-6 weeks.Fractures may or may not require surgery, rehab, etc.
