<24 hours: Until the tear film becomes normal. The tear film is responsible for coating the cornea and is the first surface that light rays meet to come into focus. If the tear film is excessive or minimal, vision will be blurred. If it is disturbed for too long, there can be dry spots and persistent blur. Generally the cells regenerate after a good nite of rest.
