Yes, sort of!: You need proper sleep for every proper physiologic process, and lack of sleep can affect numerous of these. But ultraviolet exposure, smoking, obesity, alcohol or drug use, and poor nutrition can affect your skin much more adversely than lack of sleep. Genetics is an even bigger factor. If you need sleep, don't worry about your skin. Get more sleep!
