No: It can exacerbate dry eyes which can cause some difficulty with vision. You can use otc artificial tear eye drops to help.

No: Long computer use may cause eye fatigue, eye strain, and potentially headaches (aka computer vision syndrome) but not cataracts or other ocular pathological entity.
