A member asked:

What do the pills voltaren (diclofenac) effective for?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Like aleve/motrin: Voltaren is a branded antiiflammatory medicine called diclofenac, in the same family as aleve/motrin etc... It is a tad bit stronger with somewhat higher incidence of side effects (mostly gastrointestinal symptoms/liver abnormality etc..) it has very much the same indication as these two medicine, unfortunately only available (as a gel form too) by prescription. Consult doc. Good luck.
