NSAID : Voltaren is a non steroidal anti inflammatory (NSAID) in the same class as Motrin of advil (ibuprofen). It has been marketed as one that is stronger and one that doesn't irritate the stomach lining as much as others, however chronic use of any NSAID can lead to gastritis and potentially ulcers.

Diclofenac: A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) taken to reduce inflammation and as an analgesic reducing pain. It is similar to Ibuprofen and Naproxen but is the most potent nsaid. Taken daily it has a risk of causing bleeding ulcers, worsening kidney function, long term cardiac problems, and rarely liver damage. That being said ask your doctor if it is okak to use sparingly.
