Variable: White cell counts in normal infants @2wks vary on standard reporting from 5, 000-20, 000 with an average of 11, 000. You don't mention your numbers but lower normal or upper normal are just variations of normal. If the dr didn't send you off for additional testing i would assume things are ok.
