6-8 weeks: Time to fracture healing depends upon many factors including tobacco use, medical conditions, and the "architecture" of the fracture. However, uncomplicated fractures without associated soft tissue injuries in health people are typically healed within 6 weeks. Importantly, early mobilization of the fingers in patients with stable fractures can help to decrease stiffness and recovery time.
