On abdomen: This is a very safe device because it's using a very low level laser. Just be sure that it's aimed at the torso and not towards the head or eyes. Problem with it being so low level is that it does not destroy the fat the way other true fat melting devices (ie: liposonix, ultrashape, zeltiq) do. Zerona needs to be coupled with diet and exercise to work.

About 20 cm : The laser heads need to be about 20 cm away from the treated area.
