Most likely : Tendonitis in the base of the thumb, check it out , also we have to find out if you have problem in the bones especially the scaphoid bone.

Wrist pain: If your pain is on the thumb side of the wrist, then you likely have inflammation/strain of the tendon on that side ( DeQuervain's Tenosynovitis). If its on the 'pinkie' side then you likely have an issue with the ulnar nerve. Of course, its possible you have a small fracture from that accident. See an orthopod if it doesn't get better with rest and NSAIDS.
