I am 25 and my husband is 29 we have been trying to conceive for 5 yrs and nothing i recenntly foumd out i have pcos and i just started on clomid (clomiphene) 50mg?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Monitor Carefully: Patients with pco can benefit from clomid, (clomiphene) but many do not. These patients are difficult to treat because ovulation is difficult. Many require close ultrasound monitoring, HCG administration and iui. These patients have higher risk of ovarian hyper stimulation. You should see a fertility specialist or at minimum make sure you monitor ovulation with ultrasound.
