A member asked:

Can you tell me the life expectancy of an individual with degenerative cervical and lumbar disc disease?

Probably normal: Disk degeneration by itself does not affect lifespan. Your longevity is more affected by other factors (genetics, blood pressure, heart-lung-other internal organ function, exercise, tobacco-alcohol-drug use).

There is no bearing: On life expectancy and the presence or absence of degenerative disc disease.
